Thrills Galore!

Try the parcours (obstacle courses through the trees) and zip wires across the River Vienne - only a few minutes from La Maison Ribotteau.
Not to mention bungee jumping from the viaduct!!
Water Sports

Try water skiing (from 5 years old), canoes or stand up paddle boarding on Lake Chardes. For the less energetic, take a pedalo with a picnic and tour the lake.
Canoes and kayaks are available for hire at Moussac (10 minutes drive) for an exhilarating trip down the River Vienne
through the beautiful French countryside.
History and Heritage
Take a stroll over the old viaduct and admire the spectacular views; continue on and up past the church(dating back to the 12th Century), through the town of L'Isle Jourdain, finally stopping for a coffee or aperitif in one of the bars or cafes.

Further afield, visit the regional capital of Poitiers with its historic centre, or the cities of Limoges and Angouleme - or maybe Oradour-sur-Glane, a unique WWII memorial.
